‘Legend’ to pay tribute to General Soleimani

Short animation 'Legend' themed on Iran’s legendary anti-terror commander, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, is set to be released soon. 

The short animation is a production of the Soureh Young Cinema Organization and was directed and produced by Seyyed Mostafa Hosseini.

Inspired by a poem written by Hosseini himself and an original idea by Mehdi Salehi, ‘Legend’ showcases Martyr Soleimani as a larger-than-life figure in our contemporary world.

This 12-minute animated movie is the first of its kind to portray the remarkable heroism of Lieutenant General Soleimani in his unwavering commitment to his faith.

Ali Zamiri, Azadeh Javan, and Saeed Basiri have lent their voices to this animation.

Martyr Soleimani is highly respected for his pivotal role in combating the US-created and Israeli-supported Daesh Takfiri terrorist group in Iraq and Syria.

He was assassinated by the US in January 2020.
